In general, look up what everything is and decide what you want.
Watch as your cities change in a realistic day and night cycle. Same for Concerts DLC, if you want some neat features. Dont forget the essentials In Cities Skylines, managing important things like water, electricity, and healthcare is just as important as mainting a booming economy. Get it to support the game and have some more cool stuff. The Deluxe Edition has 5 landmark buildings but also one of the neatest radio stations. These go well with radio packs too, since they usually come out simultaneously like AmiPolizeiFunk 's new commercial pack & the downtown radio. You'll support community modders and get some great new assets. If you're definitely into it, get the Content Creator Packs. If you want several, the Collection Bundle has most (all? not sure.) DLCs and the New Player Bundle has some of the bigger ones. The deluxe edition gives you everything you'd get if you pre-ordered the standard edition, plus you get the deluxe items (the landmarks, artbook and soundtrack) 6. Get the top DLCs, this depends on your goals with the game so I won't recommend anything here, although there are hundreds of threads if you search it up. include all the DLCs, so it is not deluxe for me.
#Cities skylines deluxe edition vs regular mods#
Try it and if you don't like it you've spent the minimum, try some mods and watch a variety of YT vids to see what you'd like to try if you're definitely into it. I was pretty active on reading up on the DLCs and learning what each provided (there's a wiki and dev notes for each one)īase game. I watched a bunch of series before deciding to get the game, so I knew what I was looking for 100% when I got it.
